Colin is taking the girls and the boy to the movies this afternoon.

And I get to enjoy some alone time with my books.

Have I mentioned lately how wonderful my Husband is?

[prezzies for Down Under]

I finally sent my Easter presents for my wonderful nieces & nephews in Australia.

Unfortunately, I did not get pics of my cartons before I sent them as I finished them up on my lunch break at work and then whisked them away to the post office.

But they were more or less like the pics shown below. I, however, added each of their names on the outside of the cartons.

Each plastic egg is filled with treats and trinkets from Auntie Dee. I also, added some Easter grass, just for fun!

I am sure that the kids will enjoy them. I would loved to have gotten something like this when I was a kid!

[Busy Week]

March Break is upon us and we have been
busy,
busy,
busy.

As I mentioned in a previous post Colin and I had split up the break so that we had care covered off for the children. He kept them busy until Tuesday, then I took over on Wednesday.

Here is what our children have done so far this week:

Monday ~ went to the movies
Tuesday ~ went to visit Colin's grandmother
Wednesday ~ Madi went to an all day babysitting course. I took the other 2 to an indoor playplace with some friends.
Thursday ~ we all had some much needed down time. Then went out for lunch to celebrate Ashley passing her driver's test.
Friday ~ (today) we will be heading to the Science Centre.

I don't remember doing this much stuff when I was kid! Do you?

This morning I took my lovely niece for her G2 driver's test and she passed!
All of our weeks of practice driving paid off.
So proud of you, Ashley!

Finally! He got a haircut.

Actually, I cut it.

After much tears[by him] and a lot of persauding[by me], he sat still enough so that I could cut it.

Not the best job but better than what it was.

This is how his hair was 5 days earlier, at Fin's b-day party.
He was still very handsome but very much in need of a cut!

Wishing my wonderful husband, a very Happy Birthday!

The above picture is of a Father's Day card that I got Colin about 6 years ago. When I saw it, I thought that it was perfect in every way. I even went so far as to frame it in a 5x5 frame and it hangs in my front hallway.

Those 2 little sentences sum up so well the kind of man, my husband is. When it comes to our little family of 5, he gives 110% all of the time. I don't know what I would do without him.

[2 Birthday Wishes for today]

Finally got a moment to sit down tonight. How is it that my days and nights can be so busy?

Can we add a few more hours to the day?...At any rate I have 2 Birthday wishes to send out.

1st one is to Zenna in Australia who is a BIG 3 years old today!

Wishing as always that we could be there to celebrate. We miss you and love you!

2nd one is to Baby Fin who turned 1 today!

Caleb and I are so happy that we got to celebrate with you on Sunday at your party.

Also, big hugs to Fin's Mommy as her baby reaches another milestone.

[Finally, using my laptop]

This is my first blog post from my new laptap, that Colin got me for Christmas. I have been having issues trying to get the whole wireless router thing set up but finally figured it out.
I am sure that this is not what Colin thought that I would be using this laptop for when he bought it for me but at least it is not just sitting anymore collecting dust.

Not much news to report on the Hendry front. The little one did not get sick after his sisters both had the bug, so that was a bonus {knock on wood}.

We are all just waiting for the nicer, warmer weather, {as I am sure everyone is} so that we can finally get out of the house more and get some other things done outside that need to be tended to.

March Break is approaching and we are all looking forward to that. Colin and I split up the break so that we don't need to find care for the girls. He is taking the first few days and then I am taking the rest of the week off. Soooo looking forward to that!
